Following the success of the Learn in Lockdown, E-Teach and I Teach programmes, the AKPCTA launched the IT Cell to strengthen the organisation’s online presence. Dr Anilkumar KM ( MSM College) was nominated as the convenor. Dr Rakesh Chandran (SD College, Alappuzha), Dr S Sajan ( NSS College Ottapalam), Ramesh C K (SN College Kannur) Harinarayanan G ( DB College Thalayolaparambu) and Lijin P Mathew (St Thomas College Kolenchery) were nominated as members.
The IT Cell began its official operations by conducting an online retirement ceremony for its members, a first in the history of the organisation. The Cell also launched official Facebook and YouTube pages for the AKPCTA, through which programmes have been made available for widespread viewing. The IT Cell has therefore been instrumental in spreading awareness of the initiatives of the AKPCTA to the community as well as ensuring greater participation and accessibility. The IT Cell provides the necessary coordination and support for the conduct of official meetings online. IT Cell is also spearheading the creation of the AKPCTA’s official website.
