Following the success of the Learn in Lockdown, E-Teach, and I Teach programmes, the AKPCTA launched the IT Cell to strengthen the organisation’s online presence. Dr. Anilkumar K.M. (MSM College, Kayamkulam) was nominated as the Convenor. Dr. Rakesh Chandran (SD College, Alappuzha), Dr. S. Sajan (NSS College, Ottapalam), Ramesh C.K. (SN College, Kannur), Harinarayanan G. (DB College, Thalayolaparambu), and Ligin P. Mathew (St. Thomas College, Kozhencherry) were nominated as members.
The Cell began its official operations by conducting an online retirement ceremony for its members — a first in the history of the organisation. It also launched official Facebook and YouTube pages for the AKPCTA, through which programmes have been made widely accessible. The IT Cell has thus been instrumental in spreading awareness about the organisation’s initiatives and in ensuring greater participation and accessibility. It also provides necessary coordination and support for conducting official meetings online.
The IT Cell spearheaded the development of the AKPCTA’s official website and continues to manage its ongoing operations and updates. It now also marks the organisation’s presence on Instagram, X, and WhatsApp platforms.
