AKPCTA started the publication of its journal, "AKPCTA quarterly" in 1968 from Thrissur. After a brief break, the journal was restarted as "AKPCTA Bulletin" in January 1974. It has been named "Kerala Private College Teacher" from the 12th volume/issue in August 1979. Journal got RNI registration in 1981 and ISSN registration in 2014. A special issue "Vajrayaanam" (268th volume/issue) was published to commemorate the golden jubilee of AKPCTA in 2018.

The journal is a bilingual one with articles in English and Malayalam. It features creative as well as scholarly articles by aided college teachers and well-known socio-cultural figures. It has regular columns on service matters, travel and science.
